Membership - Join BWHCC

Membership Overview

Thank you for your interest in membership with Brookwood Hills Community Club (BWHCC.) Membership perks include pool membership, swim team, tennis courts, ALTA teams, social events, park, playground and so much more!

Any family living within the resident boundaries can join the club at any time.  The club also has a limited number of non-resident memberships, availability is evaluated on an annual basis.

Each year in early Spring the BWHCC Board evaluates the availability of non-resident memberships, based on the number of total members at the time.  Non-resident potential members must complete an application and pay a fee of $250 to hold a position on the waitlist, this fee will ultimately be rolled into a dues payment if accepted. Applicants on our waiting-list are offered the opportunity to join in the order they were added to the list, until all open non-resident positions have been filled.

Read below for a more detailed explanation of the process, dues & initiation fees, links to join and Frequently Asked Questions.

MEMBERSHIP - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

New Applicant Process

How does the application process work for new in-neighborhood resident  applicants?

If you are new to the neighborhood, or recently purchased a home in Brookwood Hills and would like to join, please send an email to membership@brookwoodhills.com

How does the Applicant Pool work for non-resident applicants?

Currently, there is an Applicant Pool of families not residing within the BWH neighborhood. Based on availability, and in accordance with club by-laws, there are non-resident memberships available for those families living nearby that would like join BWHCC.

How do I join the wait list to be considered for future membership, when available?

Complete the Prospective Member Application form - this places you on the waitlist. Each year (approximately February - April) the board evaluates membership levels and determines how many spaces are available for new applicants.  Waitlist applications are evaluated in order of receipt of application.

If an Applicant Pool applicant declines the invitation to join but wishes to have the application reconsidered at a later date, then the applicant must notify the Membership Chair.  This does not guarantee membership in upcoming years.

When are invitations generally extended and how many members are typically accepted each year?

Invitations are generally extended mid-February with payment due March 1st. New members are extended offers of membership as existing members resign so we are unable to estimate the number of available memberships in any given year.

Can a non-member join the BHCC Swim Team?

Per the Club by-laws, swim team members must be active club members.
